Hi there, welcome to our wedding website! We hope you'll find some useful information and get to know us better!
Wing grew up in California, and Cameron grew up in Hawaii. We were both pretty nerdy in high school, and our paths met when we both decided to go to Caltech for college.
Wing remembers first meeting Cameron during the week before freshman year started because they were in the same group at Caltech's Frosh Camp, but sadly, Cameron doesn't remember Wing. His memory is not so good.
But as fate would have it, we ended up both living in Ruddock House, just down the hall from each other. Still, it wasn't until third quarter that we started becoming good friends. Soon we went on our first date at Burger Continental, a local Caltech dive famous for its $2 burger/fries/drink combo, live music, and belly dancers. We ate a lot of food.
After that, we survived three more years at Caltech, graduated in 2007, and moved to Hawaii. We've had some tough times, some good times, but through it all, we stuck together, grew together, and supported each other. Our love for each other is monotonically increasing.
We currently live in Honolulu, Hawaii. Cameron is teaching math at his old high school, Hawaii Baptist Academy, and Wing works as a web developer at DataHouse.
We enjoy eating out at tasty restaurants, cooking, watching movies, playing board/video games, and playing music together.
The proposal was, "Come to Hawaii with me." Later we talked about when to have the wedding, and Pi Day was perfect! FYI to any of our friends who might get married in a few years, 3/14/15 is also a Saturday!
The ring was more of a surprise though, since Wing had told Cameron, "You don't have to get me a ring right now." She is kind of frugal like that. Anyway, it was Wing's birthday, a couple months after we had started telling people about the wedding. Cameron picked Wing up after work and treated her to a nice dinner at Gazen followed by a movie (Iron Man), and finally a diamond ring! Wing was really surprised, but now she is enjoying her ring very much.
